Strict requirements placed on the media compatibility of the valve materials are typical for the chemical industry, thanks to their toxic, corrosive or flammable properties. High demands are placed on the compatibility of the materials in use, especially steel type and sealing materials, and some material combinations – such as non-ferrous metals – must be excluded from use due to the environmental conditions of the plant. Specific QS tests may be required to ensure final acceptance and certification.

Our 1200 series of robust, tried-and-tested valves includes shut-off, regulating and non-return valves as well as filters with all common actuator types, all of which are designed to be low maintenance in industrial use, with a long service life. In addition, the potential dangers in the event of a fault require valves to far exceed conventional safety values. Options for adaptation to a wide variety of operating conditions
In addition to media compatibility, especially ambient temperature (-30°C to +50°C) to hot (> 50°C up to 250 °C and above) temperature ranges must be covered with regard to the temperature suitability of the valve. Due to wear, connections can be delivered to chemical plant standard to ensure a quick replacement if necessary.
